Complications are uncommon but can include bleeding, infection, visible scarring, notch/contour irregularity, asymmetry, delayed healing or recurrence if the lobe is traumatised again. Some people are more prone to hypertrophic/keloid scarring; we’ll advise on prevention and management. We minimise risk through aseptic technique, meticulous suturing and structured aftercare.
